Die Nationale Erdölgesellschaft (ENAP) wird die Produktion von synthetischen Kraftstoffen in ihren Raffinerien prüfen. Dazu hat sie eine Absichtserklärung mit den Unternehmen Ferrostaal Chile und INERATEC unterzeichnet, die Machbarkeitsstudien durchführen werden.
The National Petroleum Company (ENAP) will study the production of synthetic fuels in its refineries. Therefore, ENAP has signed a memorandum of understanding with the companies Ferrostaal Chile and INERATEC, which will carry out feasibility studies.
Im Rahmen der iaa mobility 2023 in München hat Bundesverkehrsminister Volker Wissing zu einer Internationalen e-Fuel Konferenz eingeladen. Ein Treffen von Expert*innen aus Industrie und Wissenschaft sowie Politiker*innen aus 11 Ländern, das den globalen Hochlauf und Einsatz von synthetischen Kraftstoffen auf Basis von Strom und CO2 beleuchtet hat.

A meeting of experts from industry and academia as well as politicians from 11 countries that highlighted the global ramp-up and deployment of synthetic fuels based on electricity and CO2.
E-fuels production in Chile is being scaled-up. Collaboration between INERATEC and the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) in the projectH2Uppp. In the framework of the "International Hydrogen Ramp-Up" program, funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK), the potential for the production of synthetic fuels is being evaluated. The aim is to establish the sustainable value chain in Chile.
